01
What this covers
These terms govern your use of braavlabs.com. They are not the agreement for a project. Work is governed by the written scope and quote you sign before anything starts, and where that document and this page disagree, that document wins.
02
The commitments this site makes
These are repeated here so they are findable in one place. They are the same commitments stated on the home page, in the process section and in the FAQ.
- Fixed price, quoted first
- You get a written scope and a fixed number before work begins. If the scope changes, the number changes in writing before anything is built, never on the invoice.
- You own it
- Every account, API key, domain, repository and workflow is created in your name and stays in your name. Nothing is held on a Braav Labs account to keep you tied in. If you leave, there is nothing to hand back, because it was never ours.
- Delivery windows
- One to two weeks for a single fix, three to four for a site, quoted per project. Where a dependency outside our control moves the date (an approval, an access grant, a third-party outage), you are told when it happens, not at the end.
- Replies within one business day
- The response commitment made on the contact pages. It applies to inquiries and to clients.
03
Using this site
Read it, share it, quote it with attribution. What is not permitted: scraping it to train a model you sell, republishing an article as your own, attempting to break or overload the site, or using any of it to misrepresent an association with Braav Labs.
04
The articles are not advice
The insights section is written to be genuinely useful and is free to read for exactly that reason. It is general information about how these systems work, not advice for your specific business, and it carries no guarantee of a result. Nothing in it creates a client relationship.
Where an article touches a regulated area (patient communication, records handling, consent), it describes where the boundary sits. It does not clear you to cross it. That is a question for your own regulator or counsel.
05
The demonstration is scripted
The interactive walkthrough on the home page is a scripted illustration. No AI model runs in it, nothing you click is sent anywhere, and the timings shown are what these systems are built to hit rather than a measurement of a live one. This is stated on the demo itself and repeated here so there is no version of the site where it is unclear.
06
Third-party platforms
The systems we build run on other companies' infrastructure: model providers, telephony, calendars, CRMs, hosting. Their pricing, rate limits, terms and availability are theirs, not ours, and they change without asking either of us. Which dependencies a build takes on is named in the scope before you sign it, so this is a known quantity rather than a surprise.
07
The website, as is
This website and its free content are provided as is, with no warranty that they are error-free or continuously available. To the extent the law permits, Braav Labs is not liable for loss arising from your use of the website itself.
This clause is about the website. It does not limit any obligation under a signed scope of work. That agreement carries its own terms, and this page cannot quietly narrow them.
08
Intellectual property
The text, layout, code and mark on this site belong to Braav Labs. Photography is licensed from Unsplash and credited in the repository. Client work shown in the case studies is presented with permission, and any client's own brand remains theirs.
09
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
10
Changes
These terms can change, and the date at the top changes with them. A change never applies retroactively to a signed scope of work.
